We decided to go the distance and do something special for the first show of the tour. We ran exactly 100 posters for the gig, which sold out before the show started, and managed to hang onto a very very small number of Artist proofs, which are listed here. The posters are 5 colors, with a metallic silver undercoat and a subtle split fountain skyline.

We ran exactly 10 of the blackline drawing on a special, coffee stained substrate. The material itself is a heavyweight matte paper that we literally stained with coffee grinds and then flattened for 6 months. We ran a halftone black through the screen. The medium offers an organic, antiquated, surface and it's a great way to showcase the actual drawing in a super limited, old primus/pirate treasure mapª kinda capacity. We promise to roll it in a tube and pretend it's a 17th century, all access backstage scroll. Artist signed and numbered of 10 only - Uncut sheet. Strict limit 1 per person per household.

Raging Bull. Martin Scorsese's Raging Bull has affected me everytime I've seen it. When I was invited to do the poster, there was one image that resonated in my mind. It was round 13 of the famous St. Valentine's Day Massacre. Jake La Motta was up against the ropes, tunnel vision and silence before being pummeled to a pulp by Sugar Ray. It was a heavy scene. I wanted to make an emotional piece. Dave and Ron kicked all sorts of ass on the printing. 4 colors, with rich textures and diluted greys making it appear almost like a watercolor. 16" X 22" - super thick 14 pt. glossy stock. March 19-22, 2010

This is Poster #12 in The Red Vic poster series, celebrating 30 years as a legendary movie house. One of the last remaining! Poster measures 18"X24" - 5/Color, printed in very limited quantities on thick ass 14pt gloss stock. Artist signed and numbered of 100.

I loved this book when I was a kid and Wes Anderson, who is a certified genius by the way, made it into a perfect film. I was honored to take a stab creating a screen print for the showing and I spent some time trying to do it justice. Any Foxophiles out there will pick up on the details. (The blueberries laced with 10 ml of high potency sleeping powder. My Bean's star adorned apples, mmmm Goose crackles...) The film is stop motion perfection. Big thanks to Dave Hunter and Ron Donovan for inviting me along. (We hand printed 100 of these with 10 ml of high potency oil based inks.)

Two of my favorite bands during my punk rock (formative) years... and you wonder why I love twisted imagery. Victims Family and No means No were pioneers, each band has such a completely unique, impossible to miss style. NMN formed in the late 70s and Victims came along 5 or 6 years later. Both bands and will always hold legendary status in the history books and will always remind me of driving my black 67 bug, with the top down and one speaker turned up to 11. 100 posters sold out at the show instantly. PJ Harvey & John Parish, Warfield Theatre 6.19.09 - Firehouse/Goldenvoice #46. 18"X23" - I printed this with Chuck Sperry and the infamous crew at the Firehouse Kustom Rockart Co. In Oakland, Ca. We had a blast. These guys really know their shit. The girl was drawn with a trusty bic pen from a tintype loaned to me by my wife's step-dad, Preston. Don't ask me how we ened up in the Bayou. 5 color with lots o metallics and split fountain freshness. $40, artist signed and numbered. As always, each poster will include some Zoltron stickers.

We've literally printed millions of stickers, but this is by far our biggest one yet. Zoltron's poster for the Melvins was silkscreened as a giant 18.5" X 24" sticker poster, printed on super thick 5mm mylar with a 90# backing. (We ran it on mylar, rather than vinyl, since mylar doesn't shrink.) Including undercoats, it was run through the press 9 times and finished with a matte satin coat for the extra antiquated chicken vibe. 150 of these were printed, 50 of which sold at the show in under an hour. The remaining 100 are signed by Zoltron and numbered #/100. These are limited to one edition and will not be rerun. Each poster will include some Zoltron stickers.
